WEATHER:

The weather in the Masai Mara in September is nice and warm with highs in the low 80’s and low’s in the evenings in the 50’s. September is dry season which makes for limited rain and excellent game viewing.

ARRIVAL aND DEPARTURE

Please book your International Flights in and out of Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO) in Nairobi. On September 23rd we have a charter flight that will depart from Wilson Airport at 9:00 am. Please book your flights to accommodate the transfer from NBO to Wilson Airport. It will take around 20-30 minutes to get from NBO to Wilson Airport. On Sept 27th, we will arrive back into Wilson Airport in the afternoon. Please book an evening flight out of NBO that day. If you are arriving or departing outside of our group dates that can be addressed individually.

 Luggage Requirements – Each traveler can travel with  23 kg (50 lbs) total.  This includes all carry-on pieces and checked luggage. Please pack using soft-shelled luggage.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

Passport – Passport must be valid for 6 months after date of travel and have at least one blank page

E Visa – An E Visa is required for entry into Kenya. Once you apply it is valid for 3 months. You will receive details to apply in June. Application is online and straightforward. Application approval typically takes 24-48 hours.

Vaccinations – There are no required vaccinations for entry into Kenya. If you are traveling to additional countries in Africa please review their entry requirements. If you would like to gather more details about vaccinations please speak with your physician.
