Board Retreat

Paris France – June 2-7, 2025

Dear Members of the Board, Supervisory Committee, Executive Staff and Esteemed Guests,

I look forward to joining you at this year’s strategic planning retreat to share in some of the amazing places that France has to offer. My goal is to make this trip one you will always look back with fondness for the amazing experiences, sites and relationships. This retreat offers us a unique opportunity to gather in a setting that allows us to remember and respect the past and stimulates creativity and forward-thinking.

Mountain America continues on a roll of predicable success. That success needs to be carefully steered and cultivated. The time spent in relationships and careful planning will assist us as we work to assure many more years of success for the members. The rich culture and history of Paris will serve as a backdrop for strengthening our connections and fostering a spirit of unity and shared vision.

We appreciate the time dedicated to the success of Mountain America, and the time sacrificed away from spouses and family. That is why we are glad to have your special guests with us. I hope you feel like part of the team.

Let us seize this opportunity to chart a course for our future.

Thank you for your service and efforts to ensure the credit union’s continued success!

PARIS, FRANCE

Paris, France's capital, is a major European city and a global center for art, fashion, gastronomy and culture. Its 19th-century cityscape is crisscrossed by wide boulevards and the River Seine. Beyond such landmarks as the Eiffel Tower and the 12th-century, Gothic Notre-Dame cathedral, the city is known for its cafe culture and designer boutiques along the Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré.

WHAT TO PACK

To dress comfortably for Paris in June, pack layers for varying temperatures, including a light jacket or trench coat for evening, and choose breathable fabrics like linen or cotton. We will be doing a lot of exploring during the day so pack comfortable shoes and clothes for walking. Dinners will be business casual with our final dinner being semi-formal. Semi Formal consists of a dress, nice slacks and blouse for women and slacks, jacket and tie for men. To use your electronic devices you will need dual voltage devices or a converter. Their power outlets also require a C or E Adapter. Don’t forget your passport!
